Welcome to the Claim Inquiry application which allows you to obtain
the status of your unemployment insurance claim.
This application can be used whether you filed your initial
unemployment insurance claim by the Internet or by telephone.
In order to access your claim information you will need:
- Your PIN from your current claim, if you have one or
- Your New Jersey State issued Identification Card or New Jersey Driver's License
Claim Inquiry allows you to obtain information about your claim
such as your weekly benefit rate, remaining claim balance,
any scheduled appointments and the address of your One Stop Career Center.
Information provided to you is the most current available, unless your
claim has been updated during the past 24 hours. You will be instructed to
return at another time if the most current claim information is not available.
If you require specific claim information such as when your last benefit
payment was made or the amount of your benefit payment, please call
one of our Claims Inquiry Centers at: (732)761-2020, (201)601-4100 or
(856)507-2340. Out of State residents may call (888)795-6672.
If you need to speak with a Claims Agent, please call during our regular
business hours of: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday,
Please be advised that if your computer is idle for 30 minutes or more,
your session will "time out" and all of your information will be lost.
If you exit before completing the application, your information will be lost.
The information collected from your application for unemployment compensation
is private data and cannot be released except when authorized by state or
federal law, by a court order, or with your permission.
The information you and/or your employer(s) provide may be used for
New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development purposes
and may be used to provide income and eligibility verification between
State Agencies administering programs under a plan approved under
Title I, X, XIV, XVI as contained in Section 1137 (a)(6) of the
Social Security Act. It may be shared with other state and/or federal
agencies that determine eligibility for Medicaid, Food Stamps, Social Security,
or other state and/or federal benefits and programs.
Your Social Security Number will be validated with the Social
Security Administration. If you are not a citizen of the United States,
your work authorization in the United States will be verified with
the Department of Homeland Security.
